Michael had escaped from Smith's Grove in a state plated station wagon originally driven by his new nurse, Marion. Michael jumped on the car, broke the window and forced Marion out. Dr. Loomis was understandably surprised to see a man who had been locked up since the age of six drive away. The station wagon even had a state sticker on the side.

She believed it was an obscene call because she thought she heard moaning in the background. The caller called back and Laurie discovered it was Annie the first time. She had her mouth full of food.

When walking home from school the girls saw a station wagon going down the street. When the girls wondered who was driving, Lynda said, "Is that Devon Graham?" Laurie said, "I don't think so". To that, ditzy Lynda said, "I think he's cute". The person who was actually driving was Michael.

Laurie tried to hide in a closet in the master bedroom, but Michael Myers found her anyway. She then grabbed a hanger, straightened it out, and jabbed at his face with it. Michael dropped his knife, and Laurie grabbed it and stabbed him.

Annie asked her dad what happened and he told her he thought some kids had broken in. He told her they had stolen a few things including some masks.

In the first scene of the movie, we saw Michael's point of view as a six year old boy. He was dressed as a clown and he was spying on his sister. When her boyfriend left, Michael grabbed a butcher knife, walked upstairs and killed his sister. When he walked outside the camera panned to show his face.

Laurie tried twice to kill Michael Myers: first when she stuck him in the neck with a knitting needle, and second when she stabbed him with his own knife. Each time she thought that she had killed him, he always got back up. Loomis also shot Michael six times, but Laurie had no part in that. He survived being shot as well.
